The municipality Tubbergen lies in the north-east of the Netherlands next to the German border.  It has 20.000 inhabitants, who live in one of the nine villages: Tubbergen, Albergen, Geesteren, Fleringen, Harbrinkhoek-Mariaparochie, Langeveen, Manderveen, Reutum, Vasse or three townships: Haarle, Hezingen and Mander. The area stretches out over 147 square kilometres and that makes that it belongs to the medium-sized municipalities from the Netherlands. Most people live in the village Tubbergen, which is the geographic and administrative centre of the municipality. 

The area is very suitable for (nordic) walking, cycling and horse riding. Contact the tourist office for more information.
